Your Savings Are Protected
We are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme of up to £85,000.00 for each individual member.
The amount saved is up to each individual member, but if they want to borrow it is important that they are a regular saver.
All members can save up to £3000.00 (max.) per financial year, which runs from October-September.
Credit Unions are not for profit organisations, so any surplus profit left after paying running costs and building up reserves is returned by members in the form of a dividend.

As a member of your local Credit Union all savings are insured against death at no extra cost to the member (£1.00 for £1.00 up to 65th birthday, 25p in the £1.00 from 65th to 80th birthday).Any savings deposited before your 80th birthday stay insured unless a withdrawal is made on your account.
